..:: Sharing Stories - Marriage ::..

- this is sharing stories session - To those who are married, .. Not married .. and soon to be married MARRIAGE When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry.. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car

..:: Something Beautiful ::..

A Story of "Unconditional Love" to live by There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She Hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for Her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will Marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her Boyfriend. He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The Girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.' This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and Who was/is

..:: Embracing Imperfection ::..

Touching story one could use in class...about acceptance, give & take, relationships.. A beautiful story to ponder upon… if everyone in this world learn to accept others’ mistakes and forgive each other… life will move smoothly.This is a nice story...... A story by a girl. "When I was a little girl, my mom like to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember Watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad For burning the toast. And I'll ne

..:: Two choices::..

What would you do? make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice? At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.Where is the natural order of things in my son?' The audience was stilled by the query.The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.' Then he told the fo

..:: The Pencil ::..

(courtesy gugel) A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point he asked:‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’ Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn’t seem very special.‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’ ‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.’ ‘ First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’ ‘ Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much shar

..:: the dark side of soft drink ::..

See what it does to your body in 1 hour ! Carbonated Drinks: Learn the Truth! Error! Filename not specified. A study by a Brazilian Professor from Matto Grosso Federal University has revealed the shocking truth about the effects of having a can of carbonated drink. Learn what happens inside your body in the sixty minutes after you glug down your refreshing sizzling drink…and think carefully! After just ten minutes, 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your body, 100% of the daily recommended dose. You do not immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because the Phosphoric acid in the drink cuts the taste. After twenty minutes, the level of sugar in your blood erupts, forcing a rush of insuli
