it makes me wonder...

Recently i noticed a lot of improvement, or should i categorize it as milestone, in Erina. Even though it is only 3months++ we enrolled her in kindergarten, she can now speak simple English sentences. If I am not mistaken, compared to Aiman last year, she speaks more English sentences than her brother at this point of time. She comprehends more difficult topic in English such as 'living things' etc.

For the past few weeks, she was asked to join Aiman in his 'Class One' (class for 6-years old) for Art class. For me (who is very bad in Art), that quite an achievement. I did notice that her coloring is much prettier than Aiman's, but I thought because she is a girl so coloring was done very carefully. As an example, Erina will color the whole apple in red but Aiman will color the apple in different colors depicting some sort of shades (but of different colors). As for other classes, Erina still stays in her 'Class Two' (class for 5-years old).

Started a few days ago, she started reciting Alif - Aswad - Singa, Ba- Baitun - Rumah... I was amazed as Arabic language is not my forte so if she can conquer that at 5-years old how can I help her later??!! Have to open back all my Arabic books hahahha....

All of these progress come from a girl who struggles to wake up early in the morning to go to school (kindergarten) and always put tantrum the night before, "tanak gi sekolah" became her mantra... hehehe within those negative feeling she could gain so much things.

In a way, I am very proud of her progress but in other way I am very concerned of Aiman's progress. It looks like Erina could surpass her brother anytime. Somehow it feels that myself imagining this competitive situation hahaha :)) this is not good.... I just wish and hope that my kids could learn as much as they love and be able to expand their horizon of thinking with all those lessons.

However, these are the moments that I want to treasure for ever. :) I love both of you very much
